VetConnect
Location: 115 Water Street Plymouth, Massachusetts
Reception Perspective
A group effort of myself and three other talented designers created VetConnect, a veteran living community focused on amplifying the resident's well-being and relationships. Keeping a simple yet exciting color palette let us define each space in its own way. I designed the front entry to be decorated with pillars of light created by skylights to not only create ambient light, but to invite the occupants in. Corkboard is installed on the entry corner walls to reduce noise and also to post announcements or encouragements.
Multipurpose Space Perspective
This space is designed to hold a variety of activities for the occupants of this community. Guest lecturers, coaching lessons, group dynamics, private or small events can all be occupied here. Implementing retractable glass panels allowed events held to become private or public. These foldable walls are installed on the outer perimeter and the small conference room in the back right. A business center was also created to give occupants access to tools they may need to communicate with family or for work.
