Hi, my name is Isabel and currently, I am a graduating senior from the Interior Architecture and Design CIDA Accredited Program at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. 

My story began at UMASS Dartmouth following the desire to be a painter and a ceramist and soon turned into a passion for interior and exterior design. I left UMASS to find the specialty major and came across Mount Ida College in Newton, MA. They closed the same semester I started this new path and my new passion merged with the College of Visual and Performing Arts at UMASS Dartmouth. I began at UMASS and somehow needed to end at UMASS and so that trail was paved for me. I believe paths are made to be walked upon regardless of their direction. The force and willpower I hold will guide me to the correct door that'll open when I need. 

The opportunities and experiences I've had here at UMASS have taught me who I am as an artist and a designer.  I create to better the human connection and experience. I think of an environment's resiliency in concept and application and how it will shift and influence for years to come. I strive to create for a balance of stimulation. I want to create a space to coexist with the human experience and subsequently elevate it.
